McCormick Ranch is Scottsdale’s first master planned community. Incorporated in 1972, McCormick Ranch has been developed in stages around two 18-hole golf courses (McCormick Ranch Golf Club’s Palm Course and Pine Course), over 25 miles of paths used for biking, walking and hiking, 10 lakes, and acres of greenery.

Homes in McCormick Ranch were mostly constructed from the early 1970s through the 1980s. Construction began on the southern boundary of Indian Bend Road and progressed northward to Shea Boulevard. This community is bound by Pima Road on the east and Hayden Road on the west.

With a current population of approximately 23,000 residents. McCormick Ranch is one of the largest planned communities in the country. It is a complete community with restaurants, shopping, schools, banks, access to the freeway, and everything.
