Pinnacle Peak Country Club is located west of Pima Road, on the south side of Thompson Peak Parkway and offers views of the desert, mountains, and greenway. The community was named after the nearby 3,170-ft landmark, Pinnacle Peak. Even though the club has been in existence for over 30 years, it was recently renovated with a state-of-the-art fitness center, a heated swimming pool, and two championship tennis courts.
Pinnacle Peak Country Club exudes privacy, from the tall hedges surrounding the clubs, to the the uninterrupted views of desert landscape and the guard gate at the entrance. Residents can expect full seclusion. The club itself features a traditional walkable golf course, that was designed by Dick Turner and is lined with trees. This course offers 5 sets of tees and is limited to 325 families to assure an upscale, uncrowded golf experience at all times. Membership to the club is not tied directly to home ownership and is by application only.
The neighborhood consists of mostly detached custom homes that began groundbreaking in 1977 and continue to be built until this day. Most homes sit on lots that range in size from ½ an acre to 1 acre. The homes reflect a southwestern style and make use of the natural landscape to offer stunning views of the mountains and city lights.
